Go Ducks!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of going to an Oregon Ducks football game, an at home game, 59,330 spectators, a record breaking season opener. Talk about noise... we all cheered with a sight a relief whenever the Ducks scored or made a run. The Oregon Ducks were in good form most of the third quarter. Coming back from a dissappointing 24-0 in the fist half, the ducks fell apart in the 4th qtr losing possension 4 times at 1st and goal. Final score Indiana 30 Oregon 24.

Take Special Care

Today is the begining of the last four months of 2004. In the midst of the upcoming festivites, let's remember to take time to nurture ourselves. Getting caught up in the many activites the fall/winter season can bring can wear us down and make us vulnerable to colds, flus and other dis-eases. Take care! Excercise, drink plenty of water and rest well.

Why not smile more?

I often wonder why people don't smile more.

What's keeping our emotions supressed and the feelings of joy from erupting? Is it about stress and the absence of joy?

We work hard and play soft, treading lightly on the pedals of fun and excitement. Why? We word hard making a fortune for someone else, can't find the joy and laughter in our lives?

I propose we live and enjoy our moments on earth -- it is but a vapor... here today and tomorrow, a question mark.

Choose laughter over a STERN face, joy over happiness and most of all, enjoy the simple things - a sunset, a flower, your smile...
